Join us August First Friday in Downtown York for a Market District first.

The Market District and Brown's Orchards are excited to bring you the first annual Market District Peach Festival!

The fun begins at 5pm with sign ups to judge our amateur tasting contest and participate in our pie eating contest! 5pm also kicks off the start of our pie in the face for charity contest featuring Silas Chamberlin and Lou Rivera! Silas will be working to raise money for Downtown York, PA's First Friday Fund, and Lou will be raising money for Latinos Unidos of York and The Movement. Silas and Lou will be raising money for each others charities - whoever raises the most gets a pie to the face! There will be 2 ways to donate & have a say in who get pied in the face: there will be a donation table set up on N Beaver St and Silas & Lou will be roaming the Market District until 8:00pm with donation jars.

The tasting contest will begin at 6pm and end at 7pm. Winner of the contest will be announced at 8:30pm. Signs ups to become an "official judge" for the tasting contest begin at 5pm and are limited to the first 100 people. To sign up to participate in the contest go here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSct2mST21MGM9XLTV3FHx7O2cDrIfH0ClhCC5Xqa1wg9ZSkSg/viewform?usp=sf_link

Next up is a pie eating contest, with peach pies provided by Brown's Orchards. The pie eating contest begins at 7:30pm. The first to finish their peach pie will be declared the winner & a prize will be awarded. Sign ups for the pie eating contest begin at 5pm & are limited to the first 10 people.

The wining charity of the pie in the face charity contest will be announced at 8:30, with either Silas or Lou getting pied in the face.

All thru the event, we'll have great vendors setup on N Beaver St. Check back as we add more info!
